DECT Assam Recruitment Education
- Passed HSLC or equivalent qualification from recognized Board/Institution.
- Passed National Apprenticeship Certificate or National Trade Certificate in appropriate trade.
- 1 year Industrial/Teaching Experience desirable.

- Eligible DOB Range: 01.01.1985 to 01.01.2007 (both dates inclusive)

Selection Process for DECT Assam Recruitment
There shall be two phases in the selection process: –
Phase-I: The Candidates whose applications are accepted will be required to appear in an Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) type written test to be held in Guwahati on a date to be notified later on. Duration of written test will be of 2 Hours. The test will be of 100 marks with hundred MCQ. Each question will carry 1 (one) mark. There will be no negative marking for wrong answer. The Multiple-Choice Question will be comprised of following section: –
- Subject Knowledge: 60 marks
- General English: 10 marks
- General Knowledge: 15 marks
- Basic Digital Literacy: 15 marks
Phase-II: Against each vacancy, 1:4 candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the marks obtained in the written test category wise. After the written test, the shortlisted candidates will have to appear in a Skill Test in their concerned trade/subject to be held in Guwahati. Total marks for the Skill Test will be 50 Marks.
Final Selection: The final merit list will be prepared posts and category wise on the basis of the total marks scored in Written Test and Skill Test. The selection list shall remain valid for a period of 12 months from the date of its publication for the purpose of appointment.
