UPSC NDA Recruitment Qualification
Army Wing of National Defence Academy: 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and Indian Naval Academy: 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
Note: Candidates appearing in class 12th under the 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent examination can also apply for this exam.

UPSC NDA Salary 2026
Selected candidates undergo a rigorous training period, which includes three years at the National Defence Academy. Cadets receive a fixed monthly stipend during this training period. Upon successful completion of training and commissioning, officers are placed at Level 10 of the Defence Pay Matrix.
