Department: Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Govt. Of Tripura.
Name of Posts: Agriculture Officer, TAFS, Gr-1,Group-B Gazetted
No of Posts: 136 Vacancy [ UR:70, ST:41, SC: 25 ]
Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture from recognized University & institute.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Agri-climatic condition of Tripura.
- Knowledge in Bengali or Kokborok. For assessment of desirable knowledge
- Permanent Resident Certificate of Tripura (PRTC) would be required while applying for jobs to the post of Agriculture Officer by Direct Recruitment.
Age Limit: 18 to 40 years as on 20-08-2025. Upper Age limit is relaxable by 5 years in case of ST/SC/ PwDs(PH) / Government Employee candidates.
Provided that Govt. Employees belonging to ST/SC/ PH category shall not get this relaxation over and above the general relaxation of 5 (five) years available
to them.
Pay Scale: Pay Scale of Level-13 of Rs. 10,230/- to Rs.34,800/- Per Month. Grade Pay Rs. 4,800/-

The recruitment process will comprise of two successive stages, viz.
- Written Examination – 180 Marks, 3 Hours
- Personal Interview or Personality Test – 20 Marks
