Pay Scale: Presently, the starting basic pay is Rs. 48,480/- in the scale of 48,480-2000/7-62,480-2340/2-67,160-2680/7-85,920 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I plus 2 advance increments (For work experience of 2 years or more in officer cadre in any Scheduled Commercial Bank/ Regional Rural Bank). The official will also be eligible for D.A, H.R.A/ Lease rental, C.C.A, PF, Contributory Pension Fund i.e., NPS, LFC, Medical Facility etc. and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time.
SBI CBO Education Qualification
Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria as on 30 April 2025.
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by Central Government.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank.
SBI CBO Recruitment Age Limit
Applicants must have completed 21 years of age and should not exceed more than 30 years. It means an individual born between May 1, 1995 and 30th April 2004 (inclusive of both dates) is eligible for SBI Clerk Recruitment.
Relaxation in the upper age limit will be given to the reserved categories as given below.
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD: Up to 10-15 years (depending on category)

Selection Process for SBI CBO Recruitment
The recruitment process includes 4 main stages:
- Online Written Exam
- Screening & Interview
- Local Language Test
- Document Verification
- Medical Examination
Online Test:
- Objective Test: 120 marks
- Descriptive Test: 50 marks
Screening of Documents
Interview (50 marks)
Local Language Proficiency Test
Final selection will be based on the combined marks of the Online Test and Interview with a 75:25 weightage ratio.
