Yantra Apprentice Recruitment Selection Process
The selection process for the YIL Apprentice Recruitment will be based on merit and the candidates’ choices regarding the Ordnance Factory they wish to join. A separate merit list will be prepared for Non-ITI and ITI candidates.
- Non-ITI Candidates: Merit will be determined by the overall percentage of marks obtained in Madhyamik (Class X or equivalent).
- ITI Candidates: The merit list will be calculated based on the simple average of percentage marks obtained in both Madhyamik and ITI examinations.
Provisionally selected candidates will be called for document verification and medical examinations. In case of tie scores, age and year of passing will be considered to break the tie
