Cotton University Recruitment Criteria
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a Graduate degree from a UGC Recognized University. Additionally, proficiency in English and Assamese language (Speak/ Read/ Write), capability of multitasking, and working knowledge of computers are required.
Desirable Qualification: Working experience in Govt. offices/ Reputed Govt. institutions of Higher Education/ Research institutions is preferable.
Age Limit: The upper age limit is as per Govt. O.M. No. ABP.6/2016/51 dated 2nd September 2020, calculated as on 1 July 2025.
Note: There is no upper age limit for regular employees of Cotton University applying for this post.
Cotton University Recruitment Selection Process
All applications will be screened for a written test, and qualifying candidates will be shortlisted. A limited number of candidates will be called for the written test and/or skill test. Mere fulfilment of minimum criteria does not entitle a candidate to be called for the skill test.
Contractual/ temporary workers of Cotton University with desired qualifications will receive a maximum of 10 marks weightage (2 marks for each completed year) for service rendered to the University.
